Winter strikes...icy weather down from Greenland and Iceland pays Britain a visit. Roads are iced up and pavements coated with snow....many make their way down to Beaconsfield to try out the sledge runs...minus 2C.....these photos taken at 12 noon 31/01/03 .

	The continuing damage to the Harbour Wall by the heavy winter tides is causing concern. When previous repairs were carried out Cullercoats Fishermen raised the issue as to how long it would be before it was breached again.
