These pictures from Reuben Condie of Station Road, Cullercoats, were taken Feb 2000 They show the Harbour under a rare covering of snow. It snowed on Boxing Day this year, and stayed for 6 days. Now we have had loads of rain and sleet Jan/Feb 2001.
This picture shows the south side of the Harbour,with the beach under snow, and to the right the bank up to Beverley Terace, and to the Boatfield. The sledges have been out and may be out again soon?
