Springtime in Cullercoats 2001

The brooding skys of a changable springtime are here again. The cobles launch into rough seas and face heavy rains, the weather as fickle as the unpredictable season it is known to be. The clocks are forward into British Summer Time, but coats and scarfs are still daily wear. These photos taken 26th March at noon.
The long awaited findings of the Government Inspector on the future of Beaconsfield were laid out in principal in Local newspapers on the 7th February. The Inspector has supported the building of the proposed Metro Station but has recommended that the remaining land is kept as protected open space. What the Papers say Click Here
